Vaccination Clinic
Volunteered at Upper Darby High School's Vaccination Clinic where COVID-19 vaccinations were being administered. Participated in entry data, disinfecting surfaces, monitoring patients, and crowd control. It was an honor to serve the community in such a time of need.
January 2020-March 2020
St. Agnes Parish Day Room
Worked with students at the St. Agnes Parish Day Room in the “Countdown to Kindergarten” program (4 and 5 years old) once a week for 45 minutes. During these sessions I conducted literacy activities in the areas of phonological awareness, concepts of print, and letter name/sound recognition. Was able to witness the different stages of literacy development come to life.

Project Mapendo
Traveled to Nyeri, Kenya for three weeks to serve at the St. Mary's Boy School. During my time in Nyeri I learned about the damage’s colonization leaves on a nation, the educational inequalities women face, the importance of funding the community and giving to the youth, and the similarities in the issues the United States and Kenya face.

De La Salle Blackfeet School
Traveled to Browning, Montana to serve the Blackfeet Native American tribe in their De La Salle elementary school. Assisted staff and students throughout the daily activities and schoolwork. Spent the year prior educating myself on, not only the injustices that the Blackfeet Nation face but all Native Americans face.
