3rd Grade Long Term Substitute
September 2021 - June 2022
Hired by Springfield School District to work as a 3rd Grade Long Term Substitute at Scenic Hills Elementary School.  As a 3rd grade LTS I was responsible for managing a class of 25, 3rd grade students, and planning lessons that stimulate growth in literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional skills. I communicated with parents on a regular basis, via weekly emails and parent-teacher conferences. I worked effectively and efficiently with the 3rd Grade Team to develop lesson plans on a weekly basis.
Assistant Manager
May 2019 - Present
Worked at Aronimink Swim Club since 2013 as a lifeguard and in 2019 got moved up to an assistant manager position. Throughout my time at Aronimink I've been facilitating swim lessons, enforcing pool safety, and managing the lifeguards.
Summer Academy Teacher
June 2021 - July 2021
Worked at East Goshen Elementary School for West Chester Area School District's 2021 Summer Academy. Â Taught small group interventions in reading/writing, math, and social-emotional learning that focused on the Common Core PA Standards for 5 weeks in a Rising 3rd Grade classroom. Â Implemented goal setting in the classroom and focused lessons on students own academic and social goals for a more student-guided learning experience. Â Planned various themed based learning days that focus on teamwork, creativity, and hands-on learning.
Swim Coach
April 2021 - May 2022
Joined Radnor Aquatic Club's coaching staff during the teams spring season. Â Since being hired I've created a safe and motivational team environment at practices by interacting positively with swimmers. Â Communicated with parents and care givers about team expectations, important practice scheduling, and goal setting for their swimmer(s). Â Wrote age-appropriate practices that physically and mentally pushed swimmers out of their comfort zone to ensure progress in their swimming capabilities.
Student Teaching
January 2021 - May 2021
Cooperated with Starkweather's 1st Grade Team to ensure best teaching practice were being implemented and problem solving when issues arose. Â Worked with small reading groups daily to enhance students sight word recognition, reading skills, and research abilities. Â Created and conducted engaging lesson plans that followed the Danielson Framework and reflected on instruction with mentor teacher. Â Assisted Starkweather's Physical Education Teacher with the schools Intramural After-School Sports for Boys and Girls in grades 4th and 5th.
Substitute Teacher
August 2019 - March 2020
Joined the Substitute Teacher Service team and subbed for Upper Darby School District in their Garrettford Elementary and Hillcrest Elementary schools.  Worked with multiple different teachers to ensure their lesson plans were executed and their students were taken care of. Taught students from grades kindergarten to 5th and guaranteed class room management continued.
Girls Lacrosse Coach
March 2019 - May 2021
Joined the Raiders Lacrosse coaching team in 2019. Was head coach of the 5th-6th grade team in 2019 and in 2020 was the head coach for the 7th-8th grade team. Created and conducted practices to focus on enhancing the players lacrosse and teamwork skills. In 2019, the Raiders Girls Lacrosse 5th-6th team went undefeated.
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Patient Media Program's Intern
August 2018 - December 2018
Produced and hosted various show's for CHOP's Galaxy 51 channel. Â Interacted and communicated with patients on a daily basis. Â Worked with programs like Audacity to edit music for CHOP's database. Â Handled equipment such as cameras, lighting, tri-caster, audio board, and green screen, to broadcast different content directly into patient's rooms.
Argentine Productions, Production Assistant
August 2018
Assisted with production tasks, such as organizing cast and crew to make sure the production stayed on schedule. Â Managed release forms and contracts for the production.
Center City Film and Video, Intern
January 2018 - May 2018
Assisted in transcribing interviews and conducting research. Participated in casting calls and contributed to the setting up and stripping of different shoots. Â Gained valuable information about the business side of the production industry.
Actuality Media Outreach Program, Editor
July 2017 - August 2017
Traveled to Nicaragua and completed a documentary over the course of four weeks. Â Studied the process of documentary filmmaking abroad. Â Collaborated with a team of four to create the documentary. Â Edited and transcribed the documentary from Spanish to English.
